 Building a Strong Digital Brand

Right now, there are millions of websites, businesses, and groups trying to get noticed by us, the public. We can go seek these sites or they market themselves to us to gain our attention. Regardless, it is vital that these sites build a strong digital brand and a positive reputation to grow market share, increase revenue or bring awareness to their cause. According to a Neilson survey, 59% of consumers prefer to buy products from businesses that they are familiar with. For a business to have returning customers, they will need to focus on retaining a positive brand image. This is accomplished by having great customer service, ease of use and valuable products that drive demand. 


Branding itself can be looked at in three phases: brand strategy, brand identify and brand marketing. Brand strategy will convey a purpose, promise and commitment to customers. Brand identify is how the brand strategy is conveyed to the public through content, collateral and advertising. Brand marketing is the way that businesses bring awareness by connecting values to the right market. 

There is so much more to building a strong digital presence than having an abundant number of advertisements online. There needs to be a strategic purpose and correlation between the company vision and how they convey this vision to customers.
